A Room of Heliodorus
In 1972 Tarcisio De Paolis bought a flat in the historic centre of Civitavecchia, near Rome. During the renovations to achieve the bathroom, some very bright colours emerged from the walls. The room was hiding four paintings depicting "The expulsion of Heliodorus from the temple," "The mass of Bolsena", "The liberation of St. Peter", "The meeting of Leo the Great with Attila." The same events were painted between 1511 and 1514 by the Italian painter Raphael in the "Room of Heliodorus" at the current Vatican Museums.
